Pick your collecting style
Decide whether you collect one bias, one group, album cards only, preorder benefits, lucky draws, or OT-sets. The more honest you are about your goal, the less random buying you do later.
Use binder sections that match how you search
Common sections are group, member, album era, version, benefits, duplicates, and trade priority. If you often think “where is my winter concept card?” then concept-based sections may work better than strict chronological order.
Track duplicates and trade notes
Every duplicate should have a note: keep, trade, sell, gift, or undecided. Add condition notes and which card you want in exchange. Future-you will thank you when comeback season gets messy.
Create a grail priority list
A grail card is the card you actually care about, not the one TikTok says is valuable. Rank your top 5 so you do not waste budget on cards that do not matter to your collection.
